Stefani B. Lenett joined Duckor, Metzger & Wynne, APLC, with nearly three decades of experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate law and business law. Before joining DMW, Stefani practiced for 28 years at her own firm, Stefani B. Lenett, Esq. APC.
Stefani advises clients about the development and implementation of their estate plans. She works closely with blended families, members of the LGBTQ community, single individuals and families where complicated and contentious relationships exist. Stefani handles estates of all sizes.
Stefani’s practice also includes trust administration and the process required post-mortem. She is astute at assisting clients through the administration of a trust upon the death of a trustee. Stefani also handles many types of probate court proceedings, including probate administration, general conservatorships, limited conservatorships, guardianships, and various court petitions relating to trusts and trust administration. Stefani frequently handles matters where counsel is required in all counties across the State of California.
Stefani also advises clients concerning how community property laws in California can affect estate planning, both before, during and after marriage. Clients must be made aware of issues relating to the character of property under California law when embarking on estate planning.
Stefani is gifted at helping clients through not only the legalities of death and dying, but also in understanding the grief process. She thoroughly enjoys practicing in the areas of trusts, estates, and probate law, as well as working with all populations and generations.
Stefani is originally from Detroit, Michigan. She moved to California in 1983 and has two adult children.
