After a decade in the real estate and development industry, Duckor Metzger & Wynne, APLC Legal Researcher and Analyst Eve Mazzarella* transitioned to the legal field in 2008. She now serves clients in high-stakes business and real estate disputes, including those related to land use.
Working as a paralegal for most of her legal career, Eve played a key role in numerous civil trials involving claims exceeding $300 million and participated in more than 100 depositions and dozens of mediations. Eve completed the State of California’s four-year Law Office Study Program and passed the Bar Exam in 2023.
Eve has a proven track record in managing subdivisions, resolving zoning disputes and representing clients before various community groups and local agencies, including the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. She has successfully negotiated with multiple city governments, such as the cities of San Diego, La Mesa, Chula Vista and Escondido, and has worked with the San Diego County Tax Assessor and Tax Collector.
