Duckor Metzger & Wynne, a Professional Law Corporation, is pleased to welcome Löan T. Shillinger to the firm as senior counsel in the Estate Planning, Trust Administration & Probate practice. In addition, we congratulate Tony R. Skogen, Jr. who became a shareholder with the firm.
Löan ran her own practice for 12 years before joining DMW. She has a passion for estate planning because she understands the difference it can make during difficult times. An active member in San Diego’s legal community, Löan shares her passion by speaking at community centers, conferences and educational seminars about the importance of estate planning. She earned her law degree at California Western School of Law.
“We understand that clients sometimes struggle with estate planning because it seems daunting or because it’s difficult to talk about. With Löan, clients receive a unique personal touch that comforts them so they can make the best decisions for themselves and their loved ones,” said DMW Managing Partner Anna Roppo.
Tony is a member of DMW’s Employment practice group and focuses on employment litigation, representing businesses throughout Southern California. Tony gives back to the community by serving leadership roles in local bar associations and providing instruction in continuing legal education seminars. He earned his law degree at the University of San Diego School of Law.
“Tony is a valuable member of the DMW Employment law practice, helping business clients from a variety of industries with successful advocacy and guidance. He’s a well-regarded litigator who repeatedly earns accolades for his work,” Anna said. “We are excited to have his perspective at the decision-making level.”
