Congratulations to Duckor Metzger Wynne, APLC Shareholder John C. Wynne for being named a 2023 Top 100 Leader in Law by the San Diego Business Journal!
“During his 45-year litigation career, Wynne has represented businesses and individuals in a variety of cases,” the publication noted. “Whether it’s representing a San Diego Chargers cornerback in a personal injury lawsuit, a San Diego homeowner in a real estate quarrel, a patent holder enforcing rights, a dispute regarding the overhaul of a Navy destroyer or an employer workplace dispute, Wynne is the litigator clients repeatedly choose to fight for them.”
In addition to his litigation practice, which includes taking to trial or arbitrating nearly 70 cases, John is a DMW leader who serves as the firm’s Employment Law Department chair and as a long-standing member of its Executive Committee. He especially enjoys his role as mentor to the firm’s younger professionals.
The publication also recognized John for his dedication to the community. It noted his pro bono service to Santee-based Rise Up Industries and its participants, who are previously incarcerated individuals. John’s volunteer work building houses for the poor in Mexico, alongside his family, through the nondenominational Amor Ministries was also acknowledged.
