DMW Shareholder Rose Huelskamp Serrano is an AV Preeminent® rated litigator and Chair of the firm’s Estate Planning & Probate practice group, advising employers across healthcare, financial services, and hospitality on complex labor and probate matters. Renowned for her strategic risk analysis and early case resolutions, she brings high-impact defense and dedicated community leadership to every practice area she touches.
Commitment in Action: Many of her recent high-impact matters involve class action wage-and-hour and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. In one class action, Rose secured a favorable pre-trial settlement, saving the client significant time and expense. In several retaliation and harassment cases, she leveraged public entity immunities and procedural requirements to eliminate multiple causes of action early: narrowing the scope of litigation and positioning the cases for early resolution. Her commitment and relentless work ethic not only set a high standard for client advocacy, but continually elevate Duckor Metzger & Wynne as a whole, driving the entire firm forward.
DMW Shareholder Katherine Fine serves as chair of the firm’s Litigation Department and a key member of the Executive Committee, representing businesses and individuals in high-stakes employment, probate, and business litigation. Renowned for her strategic advocacy and industry leadership, she combines top-tier client defense with active contributions to local and national legal associations.
Commitment in Action: Recognizing clients’ evolving data security needs, she spearheaded the launch of DMW’s Privacy & Cybersecurity practice and will host a free workshop on September 10, 2026, to educate fellow attorneys on CMMC compliance. Beyond cybersecurity, her practice focuses on minimizing client exposure through inventive pre-trial resolutions and actionable risk-management strategies that stop litigation before it starts, resolving complex disputes early and efficiently.
