Anne is a member of Duckor Metzger & Wynne’s employment law group and HIPAA compliance committee. She represents individuals and business entities in contract disputes, unfair business practices claims, real estate disputes, and employment litigation.
Anne’s employment law practice includes representing employers in a variety of workplace disputes, including litigation of claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as wage and hour litigation and administrative proceedings before California and federal agencies. She also counsels employers on personnel issues and drafts, reviews, and revises employee manuals, policies, and employment-related contracts.
Prior to attending law school, Anne worked in Human Resources for Taco Bell, Corp., acquiring hands-on experience in day-to-day HR activities including investigating complaints of sexual harassment and discrimination and responding to complaints filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state agencies. Anne has also been employed in management positions where she was responsible for hiring, employee training and compliance, counseling and progressive discipline, as well as termination of employment.
